WARMINSTER TRI-CENTENNIAL … 2011 will be a magical year!
Warminster Township will be celebrating our 300th Anniversary throughout 2011 and everyone is invited to participate! Although we are still in the planning stages, here is a sneak peek of a few of the events: a Kick-Off reception in Jan, a reenactment of the Battle of Crooked Billet in Apr/May, a Historic Holiday House Tour in November and a closing Gala in December. Our Executive Tri-Centennial Committee meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (6:30pm) at the Township Bldg. All meetings are open to the public and we could use some help working our events. Did you know that we are publishing a book about Warminster and a Tri-Centennial Cookbook? Both will be available at the end of 2010. Our Warminster Tri-Centennial website is under construction and will be up & running soon. You will be able learn more about the 2011 events at www.warminstertownship.org/tricentennial in the very near future.
If your group, organization or business would like to display our Warminster Tri-Centennial Logo or if you have any questions, please email Deb Myatt at myattmr2@yahoo.com.
