Registration Policy Minimize

REGISTER EARLY! Registration is taken on a first come, first served basis. We reserve the right to cancel any trip, program or activity due to insufficient registration. If a class does not have sufficient registration one week (trips-32 days) prior to the beginning of the program, it will be cancelled. Don't wait until the last minute to register!

WAYS TO REGISTER

PROGRAM PAYMENT: Due in full at time of registration.

TRIP PAYMENT: 50% due at time of registration. Final payment due 30 days before trip. Check deposit deadlines for trip registration. Be sure to read refund policy.

FAX-IN: (215) 957-2337 - Registration taken over the phone or fax must be paid for by Visa, MasterCard or Discover.

WALK-IN: If you register in person, you may pay by Debit card, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, checks (made payable to Warminster Township), money order or cash. On-line computer available at the front desk. 

MAIL-IN: Download registration and/or membership forms from the website and mail to Parks & Rec, 1100 Veterans Way, Warminster, PA 18974. Mail-in registration & membership forms are processed at random on the day received. Membership & registration fees may be included on the same check.

ON-LINE: Now available 24/7! Please use our on-line system to sign up for your favorite program. You must create an account in order to use this feature. Some special discounts and programs may not be available for on-line registration. Check it out at www.warminstertownship.org.

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION:
Your cancelled check is your receipt. If you pay by phone with Visa, MasterCard or Discover, you will receive your receipt in the mail. If you are paying by mail and you would like a receipt, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your registration. If you register on-line, look for an email receipt.

RETURNED CHECKS:
Individuals whose checks are returned to us when they do not clear the bank will be charged an additional fee of $25 cash.

WAIVERS:
Some programs and classes will require that participants (or their parents) complete and sign a medical release and liability waiver.

REFUNDS:
There are no make-ups, pro-rating or refunds for missed classes/trips. Full refunds will be given only if the Department cancels a program/trip. All other refunds are subject to a $10 administrative fee. Refunds for programs/trips over $30.00 will be given to participants who withdraw at least 2 weeks prior to a class/trip. Within two weeks, refunds for class/trip cancellations will be given if a replacement is found. Persons canceling last minute due to emergency, illness or personal schedule conflicts, or programs under $30.00 will be given program credits. Refund checks may take up to 4-6 weeks to process.

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS & EMERGENCIES: 
For weather closings and program cancellations at the WREC, listen to KYW News Radio, 1060 AM, Fox 29 News or check Channels 22 & 45, or the Township website at www.warminstertownship.org. Just listen/watch for our name and message! We are unable to give refunds or credit for emergency or weather-related cancellations, or other circumstances beyond our control. However, we will make every possible attempt to reschedule the class or program.

SENIOR DISCOUNT
Resident & non-resident seniors (60+) will receive a $5 discount off the resident or non-resident registration fees on most programs sponsored by Parks and Recreation above $51.00. You must tell us at the time of registration that you are a senior. This discount cannot be combined with memberships and/or other discounts. Senior Discount does not include certain programs & trips, discount tickets, Special Events, or material/supply fees. Community organization programs are not included in the discount.

MEMBERSHIP: NOW AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS & NON-RESIDENTS!
All area residents and non-residents can become members of the WREC. Yearly membership fees are as follows: Family-$30/year, Couple-$25/year & Individual-$20/year. Membership fee includes a $5 discount on department programs $31-$50 and a $10 discount on department programs over $51 unless otherwise noted (some programs may be excluded including, but not limited to, discount tickets, special events, off site programs, overnight trips and community organization programs). Members of the WREC who are non-residents will receive membership discounts on non-resident rates. Become a member today; download the form from the Township website.

RESIDENCY:
To be considered a Warminster resident, you must own or rent residential property within the Warminster boundaries of Valley, Bristol, County Line and Davisville Roads. All others, including residents of Warwick, Ivyland, Stover Mill, Country Crossing, Poets Walk and Hartsville with a Warminster zip code are not considered Warminster residents and will be charged non-resident fees, regardless of who signs up and pays for the program, trip or activity.
